3 competitive advantages

Be better than before, than yesterday...

Your competitive advantage cant be longer due from more and better talents because AI has made skills and knowledge available to everyone.   A recent post that I read said that there are 3 important competitive advantage and they come from personal improvement:

      1.  Integrity -  doing what you say, and saying what you do, are you honest, ?   Can you be trusted
      2.  Character -  are you just like one of hte popular guyrs who has 5 ladies with so many panganay
na ank and who tips 6 numbers for a one night stand, are you like a goon.
Do you have vices, are you hard working, do you wake up early are you determined
                               and persistent

     3.   Insight and/or vision -  the ability to see things in scenarios or events where all see nothing.  The
ability to integrate all separate elements into one workable deal

This post notices that in many deals, they still look for me maybe because of the 3.

I have seen seome students in serependeity walk see businesses in crowded cbds, or see glorious big businesses in tracts of cogon grass.

For instance you see municipalities now having difficulties with solid waste and at the same time soaring electricity prices

Are you one?

Your brain, not your vision can lie to you

It is about getting better...

Nat Geo Brain Games

Which has greater sway on what you see?  Your brain or your eye?  This much  learned from Nat Geo brain games.

Our eye's fovea has only 1/10 of the retina area dedicated to the focus of the images seen, yet 1/3 of our brain is  dedicated to vision.

Our vision is governed by many visual cues:  shadows, background, past experience, peripheral vision.

For instance the Beughet chair, and Ames room can be used and has been used by psychologists to trick many people.  Magicians, and Mr. Apollo Robbins has shown the secret of many magic and tricks as seen on TV.  The lights, the decor are diversionary and deceptive.

What we see are not what they seem to be

Cornerstone of great leadership

Repost from Open Forum | May 17, 2013

The article starts with a very nice quote from John Quincy Adams: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

The four cornerstone of leadership are:  (VICC)

Vision

Integrity

Character

Credibility

Lay out on the table of what you think you are with words say not more than 20

The way to test is to ask people around you to describe you in terms of tagwords.  Match these to what you think you are.

Is there a gap
