Clarification of my purpose - making other people wealthy

Be better than before, than yesterday...

After reflecting on the clarification of life purpose (when there is no life purpose, you no longer find reason in living) I found it to be at the moment, MAKING OTHER PERSONS WEALTHIER   Going back to my lifes experience:

     1.  This post brought in zillions to our joint venture  partners:  senidng their children abroad for schools

           travel abroad, hospital bills  etc

    2.   We increased the salaries of our staff with as high as  P5,000 per month (due to wage increases                 andwe follow one salary scale for all regions all single business unit.   Thats about P60,000 a                   year and just 4 staff cost us a million a year;

   3.   Paying millions in Real Property Tax to Mun.

   4.   Having a multi million peso construction project  with contractors (though we are not DPWH)    

              P100M in SL

              P40M in Region 1.

         This is not to mention other contractors whom we paid, other land owners whose lots cost                        millions'  One in Region 1:   P40M, +   P3.7m.    In Rizal:    P60m, P15M then P15M

   5.  Encouraging former colleague to go into business themselves to also earn zillions.

   6.  Buying for a start four pieces of heavy equipment to mechanize our operations.   The cost is 7 numbers

   The former studes at MBA undoubtedly are now receiving bigger salaries and even profits if they go into ther own business

Despite all these I survive on P6,000 food allowance monthly.    Others daughters earn 10 times as much on the companies I founded

We went to one of the Tipo locators selling  reconditioned HE.     We were looking for excavators and we were shown a 2017 excavator and the asking price was P1,000,000 and the unit seem to fit our need:  3  tonner, with rubber track pads, low hours and nice humming engine.    The executive manager seemed to be from a place I knew -   the location of a barangay captain who has roots in our town.  The said officer said during the hard time, the barangay captain took her and family under his ward.   

We said after the Pinatubo eruption, we sent truckloads of relief goods courtesy of our then supermarket through a former board member who is the friend of the barangay captain.  The barangay captaian was the right hand man of the SBMA administrator hand and if you want business at SBMA, the right connection was the guy.  

The executve manager reduced the price by P50,000, and then added 20,000.   Sagad.   

Thats paying forward.  Thank you.   The good deeds you did in the past will surely come back to you.

Having a powerful retentive mind

Despite AI, PDA, and having virtual assistant, nothing beats having powerful mind.   Having a retentive mind makes you the most feared man in the room.   -  those who can remember telephone number, what was discussedin a meeting months ago, predicting a card that will be dealth next because you mentally took note of cards dealt all ready.    Some can remember 2000 items a day.  

But how do you do this

1.  Being passionate about developing your memory  Having interest in your self improvement

2.   Being focussed;

3.   Repeat the name or item

4.  Visualize the item to be remembered and make this odd.  We remember pictures better than numbers or words.      Or creating a story which may be weird or dazzling.

5.   Find a peg system

Difficulty in dealing with foreigner who control business for second hand heavy equipment near a free port zone

This post wonders if the constitutional provision for foreigners controlling business in the country.   As we were looling for 2nd hand reconditioned heavy equipment, this post found out that the business:   yard owners, agents, reconditioners are all from a foreign country,  It turned out for the free port zone, many foreigners from a country engaged in trouble with its neigbors dominate this industry at the free port zone:  brought in painters, mechanics, fabricators, and agents.  The agents dispayed the wares from free port zone in neighboring towns and its a whole system and network.

The trouble  is they are causing trouble.   And  are difficult to deal with:

1.  They forget the deal;

2.  Even when there is a contract, they insist on doing it their way, departing from the agreement.

3.   They make it so difficutl

4.   Lord PBBM pauwiin mo sila sa kanila. 

Gospel today _ accepting our sinfulness and avoiding rightfulness

Gospel for today: Pharisee and tax collector praying   Luke 18: 9-14

It is about the two Pharisees and the tax collector praying.    The tax collector accepts and says he is a sinner.    The Pharisees:  felling self righteous mentions his tithes. and he not being like the other sinners.  

The Priest in his homily in the Sunday  mass warns us of the dangers of praying without work of mercy or feeling self righteous.  Like condemning the others who a are corrupt but not stopping corruption, bad mindset in our selves

Consistency to a purpose and having a purpose counts/matters; being interested in purpose means continuing life and lengthening expectancy

There are many formulas for success being mouthed.  Some say hard work, keeping your word.

Again in the Romantic Doctors, it mentions (and as I have read on how to be bilionaires,) it is constancy to a purpose.  Billionaires become billionaires by focussing on certain product or opportunity and sticking to this.

In the said series,  Teacher Kim said that purpose is  SAVING A LIFE.   (As for the SJ it is saving a soul)

Thus if you are surgeon it means keeping your scalpel sharper even when not operating.   (It means more practice in cutting through flesh, suturing a blood vessel  or operation on an animal sample.  Or the suturing.  Or studying videos on the operation.  

If you cant save lives it means you are not driving hard on your purpose.

You keep going if you stick and and think about your purpose.  For teacher Kim it meant collaborating with Prof Park to set up a trauma center.  It meant that to have the heart operation for the former chairman he wheeled and delt with the former chairman for facilities in current hospital (Ct scan machines) and grant for a future trauma hospital

Having a purpose being interested in it means you will continue being interested in living, even at a ripe age.  I stuck to maintaining healthy and biking. and forgot about my purpose for humanity      Forgot being spiritual and having such a purpose

Maybe I did not push hard for my purpose.  After being disappointed sending to college 30 scholars

(who were undgrateful) just donating 4 schoolrooms, and maintaining for five years:   rescue and fire fighting volunteer group, this post gave up.    Having a purpose not giving up.    All that matter was building a thriving business group,

I am even inspired to continue pursuing business career and goals to set up or finance a trauma center with DOH.  We had done before   A top line EMT system.   With com, vehicles, training supplies.  We tried to wrangle one with Sec of Health who became Senator Sec. Sen Juan Flavier and Sen Webb.  But we never got around this because of sons difficulty 

But if we become successful, we can retry.  Put up one in Rizal or Pangasinan. 

 

Family feud, a strategic issues in many family owned corporation

A Bible chapter by a Teacher said that everything is useless.   And now at 74 years of age, nothing could be true.   My heirs are quarelling.  For most big family  owned corporation this is a large strategic issues not SWOT matrix not the BCG matrix  and value chain.  It is family feud.

In a corporate family which I led, the family  members quarelled in front of me, the consultant and the rest of their managers in a Baguio hotel.  How can self interest make people uncouth?!

There are two factions now in the company:   me and eldest daughter, and wife and youngest daughter.   Its a power play or sibling library, past neglect etc.     One making life harder for one another.   They could not understand one another.   Its hard being a referee.  As for me I am happy backing up the eldest. I do not know what would happen to her if I withdraw my support.   

I can only pray that things will be better.   They are we are after all family and the business was put up for the benefit of all.   Will it.   

In some families, it was alleged that the eldest daughter, having left of the inheritance of billions ordered the hit on the old men

Results from a health facility is not dependent on location, name or branding.

In the series Romantic Doctors, a K drama, we find that a facility need not be limited by its locstion and scarce resources.  In the show,, we learn that the facility did:

    1.   a heart transplant

    2.   kidney transplant

    3.   grafting of a cut leg of a construciton worker;

    4.   laparascopy as it were a day to day event

This took place despite the residents/MDs having serious issues in their life:    Cha having fainting skills in OR, Dr Yeo on unpaid debts,    Dr. Kim having arm issues and MS

Even Dr. Park an academician was surprised at a depth of skills and talents.  It was more than he had anticipated.   Teacher Kim had the habit of challenging the juniors and not assisting those who were in great difficulties as those having difficult to control bleeding issues

The difficult lonely life and leadership of Teacher Kim spurred  the team members to do his best.  Teacher Kim constantly congratulates his staff for job well done.   What could a learner ask more ?
