My official rank now is a consultant for the company this post has established and been running for the past 42 years. This post turned over the management to children and because of difficulty with child rearing and lack of constant communication, morale, output have been down.
This post was forced to get out of retirement, put on the boots and work.
The first aspect that I looked into was hiring, orientation. Last Sunday I went to an outlet in the north to do the training. Lo difficulties, despite the claim that the staff (two 2 and 3 years tenure had been trained)
1. The chief at the outlet did not read the memo organizing the orientation
2 The staff whom I instructed to relay and asked to have the boss call me while on travel failed
to respond if she had called saying she was busy
3. The same staff came late (at 7:30 instead of 7:00 as agreed upon)
4. The orientation was used as an alibi not to sell and do other pending jobs, despite it being
scheduled so as not to interfere with daily work
5. The team building was not done on time, and if done a different one was made.
6. The exams were done haphazardly as if to get by
So clearly there: is at least
1. Communication problem
2. Attitude problems
3. Problem of focus
4. Problem of acceptance
5. Loss of morale: pride in self, company
6l Lack or determination, forcefulness and hard work
