Are Leaders Born or Made? There is a Leadership gene discovered!!

There is a nagging question that does not seem to have an answer (as with entrepreneurs): are leaders, born, made or is situational?

A genotype known as rs 43950 was discovered by a group of scientists led by Dr.  Jan -Emmanuelle de Neve from University College of London. The sample investigated were supervisory roles of some 4,000 individuals.  The genotype were seen to be passed down to generation.  The study will appear online at Leadership Quarterly

So what do we do about our leadership:  can we develop this, or are we born with this?
