Money is symbol of infinite abundance.    Endless supply.  

   Affirmation does not happen because there is a block, and it cancels every positive you have.    Cancel the negative within you.  Change your story.

Thus having money by inheritance, or by luck (lotto) will not assure that we will keep that money

The art of thinking ahead - reverse engineering, anticipation; begin with the end in mind

You cant be reactive, you must plan ahead and anticipate ahead.   Some say that to know the future, you cant wait for it, YOU MUST CREATE IT.

Its like chess game.   As beginner, you select one move which you think will beat the opponent;   a pro will think of 3 to 5 moves the other party will make to beat you.   Thus you need chessboard type of thinking.    You should get paid for the 2nd third 3rd order thinking.    Predict what the counter move of your boss, and other internal and external factors.  

Anticipate.    Be proactive.  Reaction will not get you far

The idea is to reverse engineer the whole process -  the goal setting, of what you want to be.

In most companies, to follow this rule, you have to create the final press release for the launch.  You have to establish with microscopic clarity 1.  how to remove the pain, 2.  how the product willl be outstanding.  

The amateurs will not be able to do this:

1.  This involves two things:

      1.  The planning part

      2   The reality of execution.

Business reality will tear down your plan:   competitors, the regulators,  your own board that changes its mind....

Think long term..  Go scenario mapping.  What if.....

Should making wealth be the only reason a man a man desiring success work hard for?

It would seem so that is why men franntically study hard, put up businesses, run for govt offices -  to be wealthy, wealthier than others, grandiously wealthier than others.  It would seem to be the only definition that men have for success -  to make and accumulate more money.

However that seems to be a dangerous purpose, and serves as a reason why the statement that money is the root of all evil is relevant.   Hence corruption, crimes become a byproduct of that sense of mission to accumulate wealth

This post suggests as others have been saying that our real purpose is to advance humanity.  To make a better world,  To make a dent in the universe.   

We exist for others.  We must discover our gift, cultivate it sharpen it and use this for the benefit of others.  That is why Buffett, the wife of Bezos, the founder of Duty Free, Bill Gates do nothing except to give away their wealth.  Harrison Ford bought a  USD 30 million, hospital for the benefit of the poor people

Our politicians our country leaders here think it is their mission to plunder and steal trillions of taxes.   They should go to jail...

Give man power and wealth - this is the best way to test him/her

That is what sages say.

I gave an understudy the title of chief, and made him incorporate  for the pupose of wealth accumulation.  Howver one of the core staff, a founder also found himself without shares and was complaining that he could be left out  with no share in the founding of the firm, while he was doing all the hard pioneering work.    He long have asked him to clarify this and said he would not fool anyone.  

But when time passes by, everything said is forgotten and when everything passes, agreements in the past are forgotten and memories dim.

I was witness to a family drama where a son said a car dealership was bequeathed to him by the mama.  But in the end the elder brother showed the articles of incorporation which did not show anything of that sor..

Can people be trusted to keep their word,  and or that the incident all ready told me everything about the understudy?

A lot more has to be done in terms of self development

I have a business protege whom I thought will inherit the knowledge about business.  But I noticed some weaknesses that need to be addrressed:

     1. He seeks and wait for permission.   He constantly needs to be followed up;

     2. He threfore needs reassurance and instruction, and hesitates when problem comes up;

     3.  He lacks focus and seems to be as a young person concerned with many other things:   avocation,

          friends;

    4.  He needs a lot of things to understand more in business.

I hope and pray he will improve further

Wealth is not a result of pursuit, wealth comes to you because of reframed identity

Be better than before, than yesterday..

1.  Wealth is something not pursued, it comes to you. becomes of your identity - YOUR MINDSET.

     Wealth will leak out if your identity is not matched with the laws of universe

2.  Wealth is not result of luck or hard work or external environment

3.  Two things at work:   abundance and scarcity

4.  What happens when there is scarcity:  

     1.  You are not calm;

     2.  You react to events rather proactively/ creatively

     3.  Your mindset is in a closed loop and rejects new things;  you act because of safety

5.  Wealth frequency:

    1.  Thougts words and action are aligned.

    2.  Steadiness is your baseline frequency

    3. With scarcity comes seeking money to relieve anxiety..

    4.  Wealth frequency is about delayed gratification

    5.  With wealth frequency comes patience and not giving up and taking the long view.    

6.  Wealth comes to you because your identity is aligned with the Universe.

7.  Your identity defines the outcome (your self image-  psychocybernetics)     

8   You alone, not money, not inherited wealth or lotto winnings create wealth:

        1.  You spot the opportunity

        2.  You study and exploit it;

        3.  You negotiate

        4.  You act, raise funds, organize the enterprise;

        5.  You market, and operate the business

 No one else, but YOU

There was a story of a village who experienced drought.  Their only source of water to drink, the village well dried up.  And one of the villagers William experienced the drying up while fetching water for his old mother.   People were desperate and left the village for places where there could be sufficient water.

Desperate William went up to mountain to reflect.  He met George.  And he discussed the problem with George.  Well George said there is a spring up the mountain.  But William said it is so far away and up the mountains.  About 20 km away.  Up in the mountains  But George said you are looking for a solution to the village plight.  

And so William discussed the plan with his fellow villagers.  No one listened no one cooperated.   William was not disheartened.  He surveyed the best route for a canal between the spring and his village.  He drew the plan and made sure the elevation was right so that water would freely flow from the spring to the village.

All he had as a tool was an old rusty shovel of his deceased father.   He started digging No one bothered him nor joined him   His hands bled from peeled palm on his first day and his mother nursed his blooded hands    He kept on digging.  He dug and dug.  Days passed.  Weeks and months.

Until one day it rained heavily (good for their dried well)  and destroyed portion of his digging.  Thus the defects of his digging were exposed.  He strengthened the walls of the portion that collapsed.  Widened some portion, dug some areas deeper.  

And then he continued to dig.   Weeks, months, months  Until one day he reached the portion of the mountain that was near the spring.  But an immovable large boulder separated his canal and  spring.  His shovel seemed puny compared to the boulder.   He struck the boulder  again and again.   But his effort seemed to be worthless.  He struck the rock again and again and again until finally a trickle, a flow and then a deluge.    And the water cascaded down to his canal....  

And then the flow stopped.  A portion had collapsed soil and rock blocking the flow.  He had to remove the blockage.   But his strength and energy seemed to have left him.    He nevertheless struggled to remove the block until early morning   And then the flow continued until it reached his village.   

At last he solved the water problem   Only then did people appreciate his effort.   But he did it alone.  People dont join you until the results are visible.

1.  Tolerate pain.

     E.g.  Elon Musk applied at Netflix but was not invited for interview.  The best way to do this was

              to create his own company.  But the journey from there to Spacex was just like eating glass

              its painful...

2.  Know why.  Its the greater motivator (others say have assets and system but this is more permanent than systems or assets and easier to do)

            Business is not about making money.  The business of business maybe to push forward the

           frontier of humanity.  As with Navea Jain.      His vision is to extend the life of humans, not to

           get  sick

           

          Big vision gets big people, Great people come with great ideas.   You do not need more money.

3.  Stay in the vision zone

          Its not about PHP or profit

          According to Richard Branson,  its all about getting people aligned with your vision, and once

         clear make them do this...

         He served burgers to 50 interns in his house.  To get them hooked with his vision and work                     towards that

4.  Bring an upside to the downside  (from Paul McKenna)      Paying more for an apartment?  You can host parties that bring in investors and customer, and save on hotel  

     Ricihard Branson got stranded in Carribean.  on the way to UK.   He thought of getting a chartered

flight and invited others to join and split the bill.  That gave him an idea of setting up Virgin Islands airline.   So  he leased an old 747 from Boeing which they  initially refused.  Later on they agreed.   Pay the lease 30 days after.  In the meantime he earned revenues from the flight...

I saw a number of jobs that are available all senior in nature for me.  SVP, COO, Managing Directors.  However this post dare not join for being a senior citizen (75 all ready) and I have busineses that I love that I cant leave.    This post should be the one recruiting.

Sometimes the greatest motivation for a man is his sense of achievement, ie that he developed his gift for the good of humanity.   However it was not the case for me... Although this post tried very hard to develop himself for the good of his family and the community the sense of achievement was stolen from him.  The narrative that persisted when the family assets were divided that the same was an inheritance was from the parents (true because what the documents say)and this was concretized in the tombstone.    However the rest of the heirs did not see (as they were still  in school then) the every contract, every agreement every plan, every vision, strategy originated from this post.  The father did not like business or signing agreement as he was a govt employee;  the mother could not have not done this because of limited knowledge.

The father died early, the mother feted her barkada and brod and sis to casino resto, hotels, travel abroad, as anyone who would have enough money  knows when he she has some money...

There is no gratitude from those who are benefitted from this largesse coming out of my thoughts and sweat.   The narrative was that which I supported then was that the mother was the genius and the entrepreneur.  

May the Lord bless them all

Challenges in dealing with family members and inheritance

No money problems, with money bigger problems.

Some old rich say (and even late mother) say do not talk about inheritance (or give out inheritance while alive)    It will be source of quarrels and even crimes.  

If you announce inheritance, the family members simply wait for the principals to die, and no longer work nor study.   This post committed mistakes:   gave out the inheritance and announced the race for the successor..

So my family is in turmoil right now.   So follow the advice:

     1.  Be secretive dont announce your wealth

     2.  Dont announce inheritance

Alot of groups make a lot of money talking about family intramurals solutions

What kind of working relationship should you have in a business or government? Based on merit or based on relationship (SS?)

Sciene and HR practices tell us it should be based on merit and performance.  However in practice it is based on relationship.   For most part I think our decisions on promotions, decisions preferences are based on human relations.   Thus among govts of nation, Singapore would tend to base decisions and actions based on merits and results (Meritocracy)   Govt of countrie like PHL would rely more on relationships:   hire more relatives, favor relatives and friends as suppliers.   In some cases they term it sipsip   In a family owned organization, this system prevails    Thus conflicts and quarrels arise.  Sometimes it is not the corporate goal that counts but self interest, authority, turfs, mini empires.     It is sometimes deragatory.

Both have theri upsides and downsides

Merit means stricter hiring standards, justice in evaluation   However  we are not clear and authority and power structure could be shaky.

There is dishnesty, tayo2 in relationship despite trust.     Abuse comes in.

WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE AS SYSTEM:   MERITOCRACY OR RELATIONSHIP

You cant really fathom what people harbor in their hearts; even when there is a formal surrender, or on boarding, there could be defiance or resistance

This post thought that I learned a lot of things.  But watching this video made me realize that really one of the most wondrous object of inquiry is the human being - it defies being captured in abstraction or theory.   Though in this case the officers were clearly defeated, they were defiant and what persisted is their pride, tradition,  and identity.  During the flag ceremony they gave a Hitler salute.  Patton thought this to be highly disrespectful  They were vanquished and in effect they being in their HQ, they were in US territory   

Therefore as a means to leverage and force the issue, Patton gave them a punishment.    He lined them and up gave them a choice:  remove their uniforms by themselves or the MPs will do it for them.   And will be exposed to the cold and elements.   Being in uniform gives a person dignity

You cant just talk and presumed that being vanquished in battle means that you have vanquished the spirit of man

They also found out that getting the enemies in concentration camp did not destroy the comman structure even of those outside the camps.    The Allies found out later on.     And of course the US intelligence has countermeasures

Patton gave the same threat to a nurse who refused to treat a Negro officer in a hospital because they were indoctrinated that only white people are superior race and dont deserve the care of white nurse. Patton, as shocking as theatrics it could be, threatened her to remove her uniform and clean latrines in the hospital.   

That is why it is important to build culture and tradition in your group:

    1.  Uniform

    2.  Id 

    3.  Rewards, ribbons, commendation

Then it becomes matic and more difficult to remove, deculture

Do we still have leaders like this? Who punishes petty thieves? Will he reincarnate and punish the evil big time thieves here in PHL?

What did the late Gen Patton do to his colonels and officers whom he caught stealing the foods and rations for his troops and selling the same for profit?  

He made sure evidences were gathered, asked JAGO to file charges against them.  They were stripped of their ranks and spent time in jail....  Do we accept that in wartime, there is really a black market (for thieves?)    Do we allow that taxpayers money be stolen just like that?

Will he be reincarnated and render justice to all of us Filipinos who suffered from the super THIEVES

What will you do if you catch one of your staff who is engaged in petty thievery?  Or worse super thievery?
