Leadership lessons from "Stormin' Normin"

Gen Schwarzkopf was an idol.  I bought and read his book.  He was a strategist and was guy who knew mechanical stuff about tanks and how important logistics are to an army (just like Ike Eishenhower and Douglas McArthur who always build a freight train (a supply train) around its army. 

Norman said an army runs on its stomach.  That is why he promoted his supply train officer to general when he succeeded in supplying troops at Desert Storm. The guy eventually became a Sears CEO.  He ran the war on a 5x7 card.  c
