On Salesmanship

1.  Eddie B submitted in his daily management report:

"Leadership is selling and selling is leadership"

Truly leadership involves influencing others, and influencing others involves persuasive communications.  Persuasive communications is selling

2.  Nathaniel Reyes visited me yesterday.  Nathaniel Reyes is engaged in selling heavy equipment to contractors/constructors.  And he said this about selling:

"Selling is the noblest profession in the world"

"Selling is what makes the world go round"

A good salesman can sell refrigerator in Alaska.  How when it is cold and also snowing in the Artic?  Well, refrigerator can make your meat and vegetable crisp;  not hard and brittle.

A good salesman can sell shoes to Africans who do not wear shoes.  He can convince, in missionary way to convince Africans to sell shoes for comfort and fashion
