Tip Of The Week - February 14, 2013

A powerful app that we just started using recently at Thriving Business is called Evernote.

This free program runs on Mac, PC, and smartphones.

Evernote helps you remember and organize anything and everything that you want to keep track of.

Here are some of the features that Evernote offers you:
  • Create text clips and web clips
  • Create PDF notes
  • Email documents and links to specific Evernote folders so you can refer back to them later
  • Automatically have your notes synchronized across your computers and smartphones
  • Share your notebooks with friends and/or colleagues
Here are some examples of what we use Evernote for at Thriving Business:
  • For saving and categorizing ideas that we find for future newsletter articles
  • For jotting down important tasks and notes while on the go
  • For saving interesting web articles for later viewing
  • To capture ideas from our smartphones when away from the computer
  • To locate notes that were made while on the go
  • To keep all our great ideas and research organized and accessible from whatever device we're in front of at the moment
The basic version is free, and you can also upgrade to the premium version if you want some of the advanced features (like larger file upload size, advanced searching, etc.)

If you're not already using Evernote to help keep track of your great ideas and the things you find interesting, then we highly recommend you download a free version of Evernote right here.
