The late Stephen Covey who wrote the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People thinks that habits are sine qua non for success. Habits make or break an entrepreneur. Yet habits are difficult to break.
Habits are functional; they are our autopilots. They allow us to do routine tasks without thinking. Our conscious mind is thus freed for other important thinking. But once the habits are formed, they become entrenched and embedded in the brain and are difficult to break.
There are three steps to make that desired habits stick.
