PIC - Passion, Integrity, and Competence
MVP's words carry much weight, as super exec, tycoon. Thus when he said that the three important requirements for an employee/officer to go up corporate ladder are: PIC : Passion, Integrity, and Competence you gotta believe it.
On top of the list is Passion - What is your desire, what do you enjoy doing. You can not force an individual to do what he does not like to do. A nursing graduate would be better applying for a nursing job in a hospital rather than be sales clerk.
Next is Integrity - Honesty.
This is where we have so much failures. I have seen a cum laude stole money from the company in the amount that is 6 figures. We filed a case against her and she died from cancer, without having been convicted from cancer; from the rigors of cancer.
We have a 20 year old veteran, even who is a pastor, and talks very eloquently about the bible. He is to be made responsible for P200,000 which he took from falsified deposit slips.
We had a newly minted manager and just ran away with P20,000. Just 2 mos into the job.
We had an 8 year old veteran, just married, and born again. She quotes the bible and is friend of the pastor. She talks as if holier than thou. She falsified IDs, loan documents and released almost Pl00,000 in loan to herself.
May God save their souls.
Thus we see people who are educated but are bankrupt morally and in integrity.
Over emphasized in the past was competence. But it should really be the last.
