Seeing the blue eagles fly at Ateneo

One attends an AGSB MBA graduation with mixed feelings.

You attend because you want to honor the students as they fly and you are happy for them.

When a former student thanks you, you are taken aback.  Thank you for what?

It is our part of the job to make masters out  young students, to stand on their own (between the earth and the sky - the see the difference between the ideals and reality) and most importantly to see that  they eke out their own leadership and uniqueness in the business world.

I am sure that we can only submit that we are just blip of a radar in their learning experience.  Much is learned from group discussions, from insights of classmates, from the internet, and own business experience.

Our job is done when they no longer need us.  They know how to search for the facts, criticize the facts and defend their decisions that are right that are more right.

I am sure they would have managed on their own with or without us, for the good ones to move forward.  Of course  we are happy that we are recognized that we are part of the process, that we as facilitators have made eagles fly, soar high.

Congratulations and Godspeed to all the graduates
